Meet our Italy Expert: Alexei
Travel has been part of Alexei’s life since childhood, but watching Federico Fellini’s La Strada in college sparked his love for Italy. After graduating, he explored Rome and hitchhiked across the country.
Years later, he met his Italian wife in New York, and they settled in Rome with their two children. Today, Alexei writes for Moon Guidebooks and helps travelers discover the art, food, history, and everyday culture of the country he calls his second home.
